Bonnie began her dance training at Lamont Dance Studios, Avalon. Bonnie trained in all forms of dance, including Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical/Modern as well as Classical Ballet. The commitment towards her dance as well as her love and passion for classical ballet, lead her to Ecole Ballet and Dance Theatre as a Vocational student and with this she achieved her Advanced Vocational Certificate from the Royal Academy of Dance. Throughout this time, she performed in many classical ballet productions including: Raymonda, Les Sylphides, Napoli and excerpts from ballets by Ashton, Balanchine and MacMillan; as well as original works by Ashley Killar.

After completing her training with Ecole, Bonnie studied and achieved her Royal Academy of Dance Classical Ballet Teaching Certificate. Bonnie commenced teaching as a Junior Teacher at Lamont Dance Studios, under the guidance of Aryana Lamont (Principal) and worked her way up to second in charge. Bonnie taught at Lamont for eight years teaching all ages and all styles of dance including RAD Classical Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical/Modern as well as Pilates and Stretch.

Ashley Killar and Jane Allyn employed Bonnie in 2010 to teach the Junior School students at Ecole. Ashley and Jane have guided and mentored her and further educated her knowledge in Classical Ballet and Stage Productions.

Ecole students participate in the Royal Academy of Dance examinations and Bonnie’s students have always successfully received Distinctions or Merits.

Bonnie has choreographed for a number of Eisteddfod groups and solos. She has achieved many successes at Sydney Eisteddfod, Northern Beaches Eisteddfod and Dance Life Unite Eisteddfod to name a few. Her choreography include Classical, Demi-Characters, Jazz, Lyrical/Modern, Contemporary and Hip Hop. She taught dance eisteddfod groups in the Primary and High School System and also trained in acting and modelling at Brent Street Studios agency as a young child and teenager.

Bonnie has taught dance for many years and enjoys instilling creativity and beautiful technique in her students. She is now focusing all her knowledge, passion and energy into Ecole Ballet and Dance Theatre. Bonnie intends to encourage and challenge her students to excel in their dancing but most importantly enrich their learning and love of dance.

Bonnie has her Royal Academy of Dance Classical Ballet Teaching Certificate and her Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management Studies through Australian Dance Institute.
